The urgency of this moment is palpable.
For those trying to remain sensitive to the Lord, you feel it…you sense the urgency, you have an awareness that something is taking place.
Never have I been stirred in my spirit like I am right now.
Many are stirred at this moment.
God is stirring them.
He is calling out to them.
He is sounding an internal alarm regarding the lateness of the hour.
The reason for this urgency is because something spiritually significant is underway.
It is taking place right under our noses, and if we fail to see the importance of what is happening we may well miss the things God is doing, and about to do.
Messages like this are scoffed at by those who sit idly by declaring there is nothing any different than usual.
They laugh, mock, and poke fun at people who feel something resonating deep within their heart and soul.
But this scoffing is nothing new, the Lord already promised it would happen.
2 Peter 3:3-4 NKJV
knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
Don’t let your eyes be turned away from the significance of the moment in which you live.
This moment is history making!
So I urge you…
- Pray like you’ve never prayed.
- Live for Jesus like you did the first day you were born again.
- Love God passionately, with all your heart.
- Don’t give in to sin, and the trash of the world.
- Don’t take your commands from the cries of culture.
Jesus is preparing his church.
Jesus is readying his remnant.
For the church, the people of God, the remnant of the Lord, there is no such thing as “impending doom,” because we are just about to be transferred to a heavenly kingdom!
I can almost hear people laughing at these words as I write them…but that’s OK.
Go ahead and laugh…
Soon…one day VERY SOON…
The sky will split open, the angel of the Lord will sound a trumpet blast, the Lord will shout from heaven, and the remnant of God’s people will be removed from the earth.
In a single, solitary, moment…
Dirt and rocks will burst forth from graves that resemble tiny volcanoes, as the dead in Christ rise in an instant.
Multiplied thousands of cemeteries, some covered over with weeds and brush, long forgotten, will once again find their place on the map because their graves lie open, defeated, unable to hold back the spirit of those Jesus loving, God serving people whose bodies slept there.
Then, just as instantly, thousands…hopefully, millions of believers will disappear in a flash!
- They will never return to the sickness and pain they carry.
- They will never return to the problems and trouble.
- They will never again know about hurt, difficulties, trials, hardships, or sin…because they have been transferred, literally, into a new kingdom.
The urgency and joy of these thoughts is so heavy on my heart.
Don’t be left.
Don’t be unprepared.
Don’t be surprised.
The alarm is sounding in the hearts of God’s people all across the world.
