Psalm 27:1-3 NKJV
The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.
Father, please help us to choose faith over fear. Our eyes look to YOU, Jesus.
No one else has the power to save, or heal, set free, or deliver. You alone are the God of the universe, Lord.
Into your care we commit our heart, our lives, our families, our churches, our finances, our well-being, and our purposes.
You are the strength of our life, so we choose to NOT be afraid as long as you reign in our heart.
We know that, ultimately, those devices the enemy seeks to use against us will fail. The enemy of our soul will come to utter ruin. He will not win or advance past the point of the Lord’s protective hand upon our life.
Though armies engage around us, our hope is in the name of the Lord. In the God of Israel we stand strong!
May there be peace upon Jerusalem.
May there be peace upon our nation.
May the peace of God reign in our own heart.
Resolutely we stand against fear and all of its components that war against our faith.
